Their panettoni are no exception, also featuring premium ingredients and meticulous craftsmanship. Among the many flavors available is "Brontessa", made with Bronte pistachio DOP (certified!).
The panettone is incredibly tasty and has a nice substantial bite, thanks to the use of sourdough and careful processing.
The spreadable cream in the jar, known as Brontessa, contains 35% pistachio—a rather high percentage—all from Bronte, lightly roasted, delivering an extraordinarily intense and authentic pistachio flavor, strongly focused on the natural taste of the raw ingredient used. The green color is beautiful, faithfully reflecting that of the raw material.
The coating is made of pure white chocolate, which provides an intense aroma and a crunchy, flavorful bite. Obviously, this aspect might not appeal to those who aren't particularly fond of pure white chocolate.
Ultimately, a premium product with one of the best pistachio creams on the market.
The price is undoubtedly high, but it must be weighed against the 100% artisanal production and the ingredients used, as well as the beautiful tin packaging.
