The pistaccino, a cappuccino made with pistachio, is one of those wonders that no true pistachio lover should miss at breakfast. We went to try the one at Bar Collina Verde in Bronte.
It's not easy to find a pistaccino out there, let alone a good one, but Bar Collina Verde did not disappoint!
We opted for a caffeine-free pistaccino, so just milk and pure pistachio paste. The pistachio flavor is truly intense and enveloping, perfectly married with the hot milk. The foam, typical of a cappuccino, is very good and fluffy.
If you are passing through Bronte, this is a stop you can't miss, provided you like hot milk, of course!
It undoubtedly deserves a rating of 9/10 in its category, for the authentic taste of pure Bronte pistachio paste that coats your palate as you sip it.
We recommend pairing it with an excellent slice of pistachio cake, which is superb at Bar Collina Verde.
