Comis Ice Cafè is located in the heart of Catania, in one of the city's most famous nightlife squares, right in front of the Teatro Massimo. On a cold winter evening, we tried their pistachio hot chocolate.
It looks truly inviting, with a generous sprinkling of chopped pistachios on top. The aroma is also delicious and smells just like pistachio.
Tasting it confirms that this is an excellent pistachio hot chocolate, where the pistachio flavor really shines through.
The consistency is very thick, and while I personally didn't find it to be a major drawback (it definitely needs to be eaten with a spoon), it might put off those looking for something more liquid.
Ultimately, one of the best pistachio hot chocolates we've tasted, fully deserving a rating of 8/10.
