Crispy chiacchiere with a fantastic pistachio glaze!
Rating: 8/10
Chiacchiere, also known as bugie, are traditional Italian pastries prepared during the Carnival season, made with a simple dough that is fried until crispy.
There are countless regional names for them: galani, sfrappole, cenci, crostoli, frappe, fiocchetti, rosoni, lasagne, pampuglie, etc. Just as there are many names, there are also interesting flavor variations, such as chocolate and, inevitably, pistachio!
Panificio La Farina Antony in Catania always stands out for the quality of its pistachio products, and these chiacchiere are no exception!
The crispiness of the dough is perfect, thanks to the excellent, light frying, but the real masterpiece for any pistachio lover is the generous outer glaze. It has a stunning green color, but above all, an enveloping and delicate pistachio flavor, occasionally accented by the presence of embedded chopped pistachios.

An excellent product that clearly distinguishes itself from most others on the market, which are almost always made with artificial colors and flavorings (and taste nothing like real pistachio).
Once again, Panificio La Farina Antony does not disappoint when it comes to pistachio and product quality, earning a solid rating of 8/10.
