An unmissable treat that brings together three perfect things: waffle, Nutella, pistachio! You can enjoy it at ChocoFusion, in Catania.
NOTE: the appearance of the waffles at ChocoFusion has changed since 2019, as they have switched waffle irons. However, the artisanal batter and its flavor remain the same! I will post a new photo as soon as possible.
When you sink your fork in, you'll first find the softness of the gelato followed by the firmness of the waffle. Once you taste the perfect fusion of the pistachio flavor with the waffle and the warm Nutella, you'll be hooked!
Having said that this is a phenomenal dessert, which I go to eat often with great pleasure, if we focus exclusively on the pistachio, we have an excellent gelato with a rating of 8/10, from which the final score is derived (read the gelato review).
Remember that at ChocoFusion, waffle toppings are made to order, so go ahead and ask for a "waffle with pistachio gelato and warm Nutella". The most daring can even add whipped cream!
