Extremely pleasant taste and texture

Iginio Massari certainly needs no introduction, so I will jump straight into my experience with the Pistachio Macarons, which I tried at the Milano shop.
First of all, they have an extremely pleasant flavor in every respect: texture, freshness, and sweetness (not too sugary!).
To top it all off, there is a well-defined, high-quality pistachio flavor, particularly leaning towards toasted notes. You can tell that the percentage of pistachio paste inside the cream is quite high.
I also tried some coffee and pistachio pastries, but in that case, the pistachio was, in my opinion, completely masked by the intense coffee flavor.
