An incredibly crunchy almond cornucopia, filled with pistachio cream.

Rating: 7/10

If you are always on the hunt for pistachio, you have surely spotted the wonderful photos posted daily by the New Paradise bar in Palermo. We just had to rush over and try some of their creations!

So, let's talk about their beautiful cornucopia filled with pistachio cream: a cone made of almond brittle, stuffed with an impressive amount of pistachio cream, and finally garnished with a bit of chopped pistachios and powdered sugar.

The cone has an impressive crunch, which holds up even the next day (we saved some specifically to test this), but obviously, the crucial point for our review is the filling. The pistachio cream turns out to be good, even if a bit buttery. Based on the taste, we estimate a pistachio percentage between 20% and 30% (though this is just our theory).

The overall texture and taste are excellent, but the pistachio flavor is significantly affected by the outer brittle (which obviously doesn't taste like pistachio), especially because it is very sweet.

The final rating, regarding the pistachio flavor, is therefore 7/10.
