Supermarket pistachio gelatos are often of poor quality, packed only with flavorings and colorings, with almost zero pistachio content.
The Sigel Salted Pistachio gelato stands out from the crowd, ranking among the best products in its category. The exact percentage of pistachio in the gelato is not indicated on the label, but the pistachio flavor is still clearly present, with a well-balanced roast.
The gelato has good creaminess and isn't overly sweet. Not to be confused with other Sigel flavors, like "Crema Siciliana," which also contains almond, or the "Cassata," which is much sweeter.

The variegation of pistachio cream also has a good flavor, creating a pleasant effect, although it isn't present in huge quantities.
Obviously, it's not comparable to artisanal gelato shop products, which are generally better (though not always!), but it is certainly very solid in the context of supermarket products.
