Strolling through the beautiful streets of Taormina, you might discover a small green oasis: its name is Novè. A mandatory stop for pistachio lovers, as you can find everything from sweet to savory treats.

We have tried many of the products offered by the shop for you, and as always, we recommend the ones we liked the most.

Pistachio Bruschette

If you want to start with a savory appetizer, the Pistachio Bruschette are a must! They are made with different types of pistachio pesto: classic, with mushrooms, or with truffle. Each one is better than the last!

If you like, you can also try other bruschette (non-pistachio), made with tomato pesto and other local products. They will be happy to recommend the mixed platter that best suits your taste.

BONUS: if available, pair them with their Nebrodi black pork sausage, it's truly delicious!

Pistachio Pasta

After the appetizer, you need a good first course! Their specialty is certainly the "Pistachio Cacio e Pepe". The pasta is incredibly creamy, managing to perfectly showcase the "sweetness" of the pistachio, as well as the savory notes of the cheese. A perfect middle ground between a cacio e pepe and a classic pistachio pasta, with a flavor balance that completely won us over!

Pistachio Cake

An absolutely unmissable dessert is definitely their 100% artisanal Brontese Cake, made in-house. A pistachio sponge, in the typical Brontese style, filled with pistachio cream and enriched with semi-toasted pistachio pieces, which add even more flavor and crunch, contrasting with the softness of the cake.

It is almost impossible to find such a good Brontese cake elsewhere, so don't miss out on it!

Pistachio Cannolo

One of their most famous desserts: the Pistachio Cannolo! It isn't as "pistachio-heavy" as the cake because it is filled with traditional ricotta, but it is fantastic! The shell, which is super crunchy, is completely covered in pistachio flour and pistachio cream, making every bite a wonderful fusion of ricotta and pistachio.

Pistachio Gelato and Granita

Both the gelato and the granita are prepared in plain sight, with machines that constantly churn them to maintain maximum creaminess.

The Pistachio Gelato is certainly the more intense and creamy of the two, with a perfect balance of natural flavor and roasting, undoubtedly ranking among the best pistachio gelatos in Taormina (and beyond).

The Pistachio Granita also has a great pistachio flavor (especially on the natural notes), but it is less intense than the gelato due to the very traditional preparation that makes it slightly "watery." However, this makes it extremely light and refreshing, also thanks to the absence of milk (which is present in other granitas in Taormina).

A reminder that this is a small shop, so products may be subject to daily availability.

Also, in this shop, you will find many packaged products to take home, such as spreads, pestos, etc.
