Not very intense pistachio flavor.

Pasticceria Privitera, established in 1945, focuses heavily on tradition, while not shying away from some modern influences. With the arrival of the warmer season, we decided to try their pistachio granita.
You can sit either inside or outside, but we preferred the latter to enjoy the morning sun. The cup of granita is truly generous.
Unfortunately, the pistachio flavor didn't quite win us over, as it was decidedly very faint. There were no unpleasant aftertastes, but the overall flavor experience was underwhelming.
The texture wasn't perfect either, due to several icy spots. Clearly, this last aspect might have been an occasional issue.
The typical brioche col tuppo, which we chose to pair with our granita, was very good. The other flavor (chocolate, in this case) was more convincing, both in terms of taste and texture.
The rating for the pistachio flavor is 4/10.
