Granite — The Best Pistachio Granite in the Etna Towns - 2026 Ranking

Along the slopes of Etna, here are the best granitas from the Etna towns.

An extraordinary granita that never disappoints, considered by many to be the best in all of Sicily. Loved and acclaimed by pistachio enthusiasts, thanks to its truly intense pistachio flavor! It stands out for its creaminess and a slight toasted note. It is very well balanced, so it never feels heavy or too sweet. Furthermore, they deserve great credit for being among the first to focus on such an intense pistachio flavor, many years ago!

Pasticceria Santo Musumeci, in Randazzo, is renowned for the high quality of its products. Their granita al pistacchio is full-bodied and packed with crushed pistachios, offering a bold, natural flavor with a high nut content and no aggressive roasting. The sugar is well-balanced at around 18%, making it perfect for those who don't like overly sweet treats. Their pistachio gelato is also highly recommended, sharing the same flavor profile. A stop that is well worth the detour on Etna.

Arte in Torta is a young pastry shop in Belpasso that blends modern style with traditional foundations, offering a great selection of savory items as well. Their pistachio granita is excellent, featuring an intense and very natural flavor, a perfectly balanced roast, and plenty of chopped pistachio bits that make it truly delightful. The texture is creamy just right, even without any milk. In our opinion, it is the best granita in Belpasso and ranks among the top in the province of Catania.
