A delicious pistachio granita by the sea!

Craving a great pistachio granita accompanied by a stunning view? Cafe de Mar Sicilia'S, right by the sea, overlooking the wonderful Faraglioni of Aci Trezza (Catania), has it all!
The pistachio granita is truly excellent, with a well-defined pistachio flavor and no unwanted aftertaste. The texture is also great, very creamy, consistent with most pistachio granitas (due to the way they are processed).
The value for money is excellent, especially considering the beautiful location, but also the price itself, as the "small" cup (pictured) costs only 1.80 €, while the "large" one is 2.80 €.
Given that, as usual on Pistacchissimo, the rating in pistachios is based on the pistachio flavor, for the sake of transparency, it should be noted that the other flavors we tried (strawberry and peach) were not quite as exceptional, and the brioche was also a bit disappointing (though still good).
All in all, while it may not be the absolute best, it is definitely excellent.
