Good pistachio flavor, but a bit too roasted.

The "Al Torchio" kiosk is located in Acireale (though formally it falls under Aci Catena), near the highway exit, so it's outside the city center. It is a large kiosk with plenty of seating that also serves excellent granite.
The pistachio granita surprised us, first and foremost for its flavor, which, while not among the absolute best, still ranks among the most interesting in Acireale. The pistachio flavor is very prominent, with no almond or unwanted aromas. The roasting is a bit excessive, but nothing dramatic.
Another interesting factor is the price, which is truly very competitive! The brioche is also good.
BONUS: the Nutella granita is also excellent.
