Very creamy, with a nice toasted pistachio flavor

Andrew's is a restaurant and bar overlooking the beach of San Giovanni Li Cuti, on the rocky Catania seafront, famous for its black sand beach.
The granitas are of good quality, at least for the flavors we tried: pistachio and mulberry.
The pistachio granita is very creamy, indicating a high percentage of pistachio paste, as well as the typical Catania-style preparation. The pistachio flavor is very toasted and has good intensity. No almond aftertaste or artificial aromas.
The mulberry granita is made with fresh fruit and has a slightly less creamy texture, as it is fruit-based.
Definitely a good choice if, for example, you are at the beach and want to enjoy a granita while looking out over the sea at San Giovanni Li Cuti.
