Pasticceria Francalanza, in Gravina di Catania, has a rich and delicious assortment of pastries, among which you cannot miss their pistachio-glazed brioche filled with pistachio cream! Naturally, we had to try it.
It is undoubtedly one of the most indulgent treats around, thanks to its super soft dough and generous filling of pistachio cream (often called pistachio Nutella). The pistachio bits embedded in the glaze are also a lovely touch, providing a crunchy note in every few bites.
The overall pistachio flavor is not very intense, as you can really taste the white base of the cream, but the final result is very enjoyable!
Since it is a rather substantial pastry, it is advisable to share it between two or more people to enjoy it to the fullest without feeling too heavy.
