Pistachio and ricotta in a perfect fusion!

Pasticceria Quaranta is undoubtedly one of the most famous and appreciated in Catania, and among their many specialties, they offer various pistachio products. The pistachio and ricotta mignon, which goes by the name "Ripistacchio," is one of them.
It is a little masterpiece, an absolute must-try, with a perfect balance of flavors. The mix of ricotta and pistachio is truly sublime, and both ingredients are of high quality: an excellent pistachio glaze and a very fresh ricotta filling!
The pistachio coating is not just beautiful to look at, but it has a truly intense pistachio flavor that manages to blend with the ricotta without being overpowered.
The price of €1 makes it a small treat accessible to everyone. If you eat it at a table, there is a small surcharge for service.
Ultimately, it deserves a rating of 9/10 and is undoubtedly one of my favorite pastry mignons—an absolute must-try.
We would like to remind you that we were disappointed by the pistachio granita due to a noticeable almond aftertaste, but this Ripistacchio confirms that there is no such thing as a perfect shop, and everyone has their own strengths. We hope the granita recipe can be improved.
