Fine pistachio cream and dark chocolate base.

Bar Kennedy, in Acireale, is one of the bars that makes the best pistachio products (second place, for example, in our ranking of pistachio granitas). We couldn't miss the chance to test their Pistachio Rame di Napoli during our great challenge.
The presentation is extraordinary, with "hemispherical" rame that are quite tall, showcasing a very generous topping of cream, as well as a truly beautiful and natural glaze color (green/brownish).
Once opened, the generous amount of cream is confirmed, but what strikes you most is the consistency of the cream, which is truly fluffy, almost like a mousse: absolutely sublime! The pistachio flavor is natural and delicious, with a notable hint of the pistachio skin, which will drive those who love this nuance crazy. The flavor just barely misses the intensity required to earn the top score, but it remains excellent nonetheless.
The chocolate base is quite dark, with excellent quality cocoa that contrasts perfectly with the pistachio and contains no unpleasant aromas that would negatively impact the pistachio flavor. If you love dark chocolate, this is the rama for you: the cookie base is extraordinary!
It fully deserves a rating of 8/10 and only just misses the maximum. It earned second place in our super ranking of the best pistachio rame 2018.
NB: it also won the award for "most beautiful rama" along with the one from ChocoFusion.
