Super crunchy dough, wrapped in delicate white pistachio chocolate.

Gran Cafè Solaire, in Aci Trezza (near Catania), is undoubtedly famous for its pistachio granita, so we decided to try their pistachio chiacchiere, a reinterpretation of a typical carnevale pastry.
The dough is extraordinarily crunchy and tasty, truly high-level and above average.
On top of the dough, we find a white pistachio chocolate glaze, distributed rather unevenly. The pistachio taste is delicate, leaving plenty of room for the white chocolate, yet it remains very pleasant and well-balanced.
The final rating for the pistachio flavor is 7/10, given its subtlety within the white chocolate. The overall flavor and the quality of the dough are excellent.
