Great shell, disappointing filling.

Even though the classic ricotta cannolo, the symbol of Sicilian sweets, is unbeatable, you might want to try the delicious pistachio cannolo variation. I tried the one offered by Pasticceria f.lli Gangi, in Bronte, for you.
The shell is excellent, both in flavor and crunch, but the filling is a letdown because the pistachio flavor is barely noticeable. It should also be noted that the filling is made with pistachio pastry cream, but personally, I prefer those made with pistachio ricotta (which is definitely more indulgent).
I was genuinely puzzled by this "lack of flavor," considering that at this same pastry shop I have eaten a delicious pistachio tartufo, as well as one of the best pistachio gelatos ever.
