A perfect fusion of pistachio, cheese, and meat.

Can a simple butcher shop leave us speechless when it comes to meat with pistachio? That's what we wondered while looking at the tempting photos on the social media channels of Macelleria Longo, so we rushed to try it!
We started with their signature dish (and horse meat, not by chance...), which is the piadina filled with:
- Minced horse meat
- Pistachio pesto
- Cheese
This piadina left us stunned, unable to stop eating it, thanks to the perfect fusion of flavors in every bite. The taste of pistachio is intense and well-defined, thanks to the use of an excellent pesto, without ever overpowering the other ingredients. You will be able to savor the excellent minced horse meat, all perfectly amalgamated by the delicious cheese.
If you love the three ingredients that make up this product, you have to run and try it! It will give you great thrills.
You can cook it at home or look for a place that has them on the menu. In this regard, we tracked down for you Sfizi & Pasticci, on Via Sassari, in Catania, which among the many specialties on the menu also has this fantastic piadina (but only by reservation!).
It deserves a rating of 9/10, taking into account the type of product and the excellent pistachio taste. Definitely one of the best meat and pistachio products we have ever tasted.
