L'Angolo Sfizioso is a small panineria in the heart of Aci Sant'Antonio (near Acireale, in the province of Catania) that offers its burgers in three ways: delivery, takeaway, and dine-in (with plenty of tables).
The burgers are very good and well-topped. The pistachio is prominent and perfectly balanced with the other ingredients. The quality of the meat is also excellent.
Pictured is their "SICILY" burger with hamburger patty, pistachio cream, arugula, mozzarella, bacon, and pistachio flour. It's a perfectly sized burger, easy to eat and not too heavy, which is almost a rarity in today's scene.
For those who prefer giant burgers, there is the "ORO VERDE," which features a double hamburger patty, pistachio cream, bacon, burrata, and pistachio flour. The pistachio intensity is about the same, but the burger is much larger and designed for those with a bigger appetite.
