Strong presence of almond aromas.

Lido di Naxos, on the famous seafront of Giardini Naxos (Messina), offers the chance to enjoy breakfast with a stunning sea view. After savoring some excellent breakfast pastries, we tried their pistachio granita.
Unfortunately, the granita didn't win us over, starting from the color, which in our opinion is too vibrant, to the flavor, with a strong almond aroma. The granita is likely made using a pistachio-almond paste, in which the pistachio flavor is almost entirely absent.
The texture is quite pleasant, as is the brioche we paired it with.
Our rating, based exclusively on the pistachio taste, is 2/10.
We hope, as always, that they can improve the granita; in the meantime, we will continue to enjoy other breakfast pastries on their wonderful terrace overlooking the sea.
