Remarkable pure pistachio paste flavor!

In search of good pistachio in Milano, we decided to try the pistachio gelato from a very famous chain: La Gelateria della Musica.
Considered by many to be one of the best gelatos in Milano, we decided to put it to the test. All their flavors are named after music, and the pistachio gelato is called "Carmen Consoli," a clear tribute to the "Sicilian spirit" of the pistachio.
The gelato is very full-bodied with a truly good and well-defined pistachio taste. You can taste the pure pistachio paste, making it undoubtedly one of the best we have tried in Milano (even beating many of those we have eaten in Sicily). The pistachio is slightly toasted and salted, as indicated on the label, and these flavor nuances are indeed perceptible.
Despite the "Sicilian" name, there is no mention of the origin of the pistachios, and judging by the flavor, we are fairly certain it is not Sicilian pistachio, but this is clearly not a problem, as the gelato is excellent regardless.
We highly recommend it, and it deserves a rating of 8/10, placing it undoubtedly among the best in Milano (and beyond!).
Note: we tried it at the Piazzale Francesco Baracca location, but the quality standards should be the same across all the chain's locations in Milano.
