If you are always on the hunt for pistachio, you have surely spotted the wonderful photos posted daily by the New Paradise bar in Palermo. We couldn't help but rush over to try some of their creations!
So, let's talk about their tempting krapfen filled with pistachio cream, characterized by a soft and tasty dough, but above all by a generous filling of pistachio cream.
The sweetness and texture of the dough are perfect for a krapfen, which manages to stay soft and tasty even the day after (we ate half fresh and half the next day). The abundant pistachio cream used for the filling is good, even if slightly buttery. The balance with the dough is perfect, and the latter manages to enhance the flavor of the filling very well (unlike what we saw with their cornucopia).
The final rating, regarding the pistachio flavor, is therefore 8/10, making it a recommended treat for breakfast if you find yourself in Palermo!
