Good granita, but the pistachio flavor is delicate.
Q-Tuppo is a rather famous spot in Palermo for its granita, offering a wide variety of flavors, so we went to check it out!
The fruit flavors are excellent, such as the mulberry one you see in the photo. The brioche is also good—large, fluffy, and very aromatic.
The pistachio, however, turns out to be a bit too mild. It's a big plus that there are chopped pistachios mixed in, as well as the absence of almond or other unwanted aftertastes, but the intensity of the pistachio could definitely be dialed up.
It's certainly a solid option if you find yourself in Palermo, but it doesn't quite reach the intensity of the best pistachio granita we've tried in Catania and Messina.
