Pistachio flavor is too faint. Excellent brioche.

Rating: 7/10
In beautiful Avola, home of the prized mandorla pizzuta, we went in search of some pistachio! We decided to try the pistachio granita at Bar Girlando, the most famous in town.
The granita has a great texture and a pleasant refreshing effect, but the pistachio flavor is really very faint. Fortunately, there are no unpleasant aftertastes, so it remains a pleasant granita, even if the flavor is very delicate.
The whipped cream we added on top was excellent, but the real masterpiece is the brioche, with its incredibly soft and tasty dough—one of the best I've ever had. The crunchy almond slivers on top complete the experience.
It's a real shame about the granita, which would certainly offer much more with a higher percentage of pistachio (and we would be happy to try it again if it improves).
The current rating, based on the faint pistachio flavor, is 7/10.
