Pistachio Granita - El Cubano (Fontane Bianche) (Siracusa)

El Cubano is located just a few minutes from the wonderful beach of Fontane Bianche, in Siracusa. They offer a wide selection of granite, among which we tried the pistachio granita.

The texture is very pleasant, fluffy and refreshing, not overly creamy (which will please granita purists).

The pistachio flavor is good and well-defined, with no unwanted aftertastes. You can even see some delightful specks of crushed pistachio throughout the granita. The color is subtle, which gives the granita a natural look.

Many other flavors are available, both fruit and non-fruit, all very good. The brioche is also excellent.
