Sugary taste and an overly vibrant color.

Caffè Isola Bella takes its name from the enchanting Isola Bella, located right in front of it, a natural wonder situated at the foot of the famous Taormina. During the summer, we went to try their pistachio granita.
Unfortunately, this granita disappointed us greatly, due to a flavor that is very far from that of real pistachio.
The taste is intensely sugary, strongly reminiscent of marzipan, making it more akin to almond (dyed green) than pistachio.
We also did not like the brioche, which had the taste of a packaged brioche and an excessively soft texture, far from the fragrant artisanal brioches we are used to enjoying.
We sincerely hope that the establishment might take our opinion into consideration and revise their products, even though the heavily tourist-oriented target likely pushes them toward different choices.
