Super easy pistachio mug cake, ready in 2 minutes.
The mug cake is the perfect dessert for sudden cravings, especially when it's pistachio-flavored! Here is a super easy and quick recipe, ready in 2 minutes, without using a scale. Plus, it's butter-free.
INGREDIENTS:
- 2 tablespoons Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Flour⠀
- 2 tablespoons Milk
- 1 tablespoon pure pistachio paste (find it here)
(or 2 tablespoons of pistachio flour)⠀ - 1 teaspoon Baking powder⠀
- 1 Egg
- Garnish: Powdered sugar, Pistachio cream (for example, this one), Chopped pistachios⠀
* as an alternative to pure paste, you can use pistachio flour, which you can either buy ready-made or prepare at home by grinding pistachios as finely as possible. It doesn't have the exact same flavor and color intensity as the pure paste, but the result is still excellent.
PREPARATION AND COOKING:
- Place all ingredients in a mug and mix vigorously with a teaspoon 🥄
- The mixture should be smooth and not exceed half the mug (because it will rise quite a bit!)
- Place the mug in the microwave at 800/900 watts for 1 minute and a half, or 700/750 watts for 2 minutes 🔥
- Take the mug out and garnish as you like! 😋
If it spills over the mug a little, don't worry, that's part of its dramatic look! In any case, it should deflate slightly once out of the oven.
To finish, you can garnish as you like; for example, I used powdered sugar, pistachio cream, and chopped pistachios.
