Excellent gelato with a very natural taste and no roasting.

The "Le Cuspidi" gelateria is one of the most famous in the province of Agrigento, with branches located in Agrigento, Raffadali, and San Leone (by the sea).
They craft many unique gelato flavors and other excellent desserts, among which pistachio stands out for its fame, given that the Raffadali area has obtained DOP status for its own pistachio.
The gelato is excellent for its creaminess and sweetness balance, and the pistachio flavor is also top-notch, very natural (with almost no roasting) and free of any unwanted artificial notes.
The flavor is primarily focused on the pistachio nut, without the typical notes of the skin. The milk is not very prominent, which certainly makes it enjoyable even for those who don't like a strong milky taste.
It is not the most intense gelato I have tried, precisely because it lacks a bit of that roasted note, but the pistachio is definitely well-represented, and I therefore recommend it.
BONUS: try the PECORINO gelato as well, it's very unique!
