Quality pistachio, but a delicate flavor.

Pasticceria Francalanza, in Gravina di Catania, crafts its products with high-quality ingredients, and their pistachio granita is no exception.
Upon tasting, you can perceive the use of excellent pistachio, but at the same time, the flavor doesn't quite manage to be very intense. The texture is good, even if it feels slightly powdery at times. The whole pistachios added on top when served are delicious.
We paired it with the pistachio brioche, which was incredibly soft and tasty, though we couldn't really taste much pistachio in it.
Given the pistachio flavor isn't particularly intense, the rating is 7/10, but the use of excellent raw materials is clearly evident.
