Strong almond flavor, but a fabulous texture.

Caffè Diaz, in Catania, is a large and elegant bar with a beautiful veranda where you can enjoy their many specialties. We tried their pistachio granita.
The portion is quite generous and the granita looks very inviting. Upon tasting, it confirms that the texture is truly fabulous, just as the appearance promised, feeling particularly pleasant on the palate.
Regarding the pistachio flavor, unfortunately, it is very faint and stays in the background, strongly masked by a constant almond taste.
The other flavor we paired it with, mulberry in this case, was very good. The brioche is spectacular (and we mean truly spectacular!!).
