Caprice Bar Gelateria is located in Fiumefreddo, a famous seaside town in the province of Catania. On a hot summer day in 2018, we went to try their pistachio granita.
Unfortunately, this granita let us down significantly, both in terms of taste and texture.
Intense almond flavor, with a very artificial perception, further highlighted by an excessively bright and unnatural green color. The texture is very grainy, which we found, by our standards, quite annoying.
A positive note for the brioche, which was quite good.
We sincerely hope that the shop takes our opinion into consideration and revisits their recipe.
