Very creamy and very roasted

Bar Etna is a small café in Pisano, a district of Zafferana Etnea. I tried their pistachio granita.
As you can tell from the photo, the texture is distinctly creamy, leaning very much towards gelato. The pistachio flavor is undoubtedly intense, proving a significant percentage of pure paste is used, even if, in my opinion, it is a bit too roasted.
The strong roast is also evident in the amber color. At times it's slightly too sweet, but nothing excessive.
Overall, it's a good granita, definitely above average, which proves to be a good choice if you happen to be in the area.
