Very intense pistachio and exceptional texture!
Pasticceria Massimo Cannavò is one of those small, simply decorated spots that isn't chasing modern trends, but hides a true gem of goodness and quality inside.
It is located in Acireale, and I tried their granita and was truly impressed!
The pistachio is intense, with a more "liquid" part that releases the intensity of pure paste, along with plenty of chopped pistachios, which provide a nice chewiness.
The brioche is also excellent: soft, tasty, fragrant, and, above all, baked to perfection. The peach granita (the flavor you see below) is also worth mentioning, with actual pieces of peach inside!
Definitely one of the best granite I've ever had: highly recommended!
