A well-balanced pizza, but lacking in pistachio.

Rating: 7/10
Among the many spots offered by the ever-welcoming Etna town of Trecastagni, you'll find the osteria/pizzeria "I Saponari", named after the nearby street.
Among the various pistachio pizza options, we decided to test the "Ronzini", mainly driven by the presence of pistachio cream.

After a brief start with the appetizers, which were quite good, a pizza with an inviting appearance and a great aroma arrived at the table. After a few bites, the quality of the dough and the ingredients is confirmed, but some doubts arise regarding the pistachio.

All the ingredients are perfectly balanced and the overall taste is truly excellent, but the pistachio cream is far too mild and tastes too much like plain cream. The fairly generous dusting of pistachio flour on the surface manages to save the situation a bit, providing a slight note of pistachio.
The final rating is therefore 7/10, as the pistachio flavor is present but very faint.
We also tried other pizzas and they are very good, but as usual, that falls outside the scope of our reviews.
