Delicious pistachio dough and a fresh combination of flavors.
Grani Puri in Valverde offers numerous pistachio pizzas, set in a truly cozy location with a wide selection of doughs. I've tried all their pistachio pizzas and decided to tell you about my favorite: "Sera di mezza estate".
The pizza is simple but extremely delicious: stracciatella, cherry tomatoes, pistachio pesto, and pistachio flour. For the base, I chose their pistachio dough.
The pistachio dough is really delightful as it is very light with a slight crunch. The crust remains quite thin.
The overall mix of flavors is spot on, with the stracciatella providing freshness and the cherry tomatoes adding a subtle contrast. On the plate, you'll find plenty of pistachio flour that you can sprinkle over the pizza for an extra boost of pistachio flavor (as shown in the photo).
A lovely place with excellent pizza, it definitely deserves a visit.
NOTE: I recommend finishing your dinner with their "mini iris", they are truly spectacular!
