If you are looking for a fantastic pistachio arancino in the province of Catania without having to drive all the way to Bronte, Bar Ottagono (Mascalucia) is definitely the right choice!
This famous bar on the slopes of Etna specializes in every type of arancino and has always been synonymous with quality. They don't disappoint with their pistachio arancino, which is truly exquisite and undoubtedly one of the best you can find!
The frying is perfect, as is the rice texture, but the real masterpiece is the filling: creamy, generous, and with an intense pistachio flavor! The cheese used pairs beautifully with the pistachio, making everything creamy without masking the taste. Inside, you will also find numerous bits of pistachio, which are a lovely touch.
As if that weren't enough, there is another point in favor of this arancino that makes it a crowd-pleaser: it contains no meat, so it is also suitable for vegetarians!
Ultimately, it deserves a rating of 5 pistachios and is currently one of the best, second only to the fantastic arancino from Bar Tartufo in Bronte.
