Everything is good, but there's no pistachio and way too much onion

Gran Caffè Santonocito is a beautiful café between Misterbianco and San Giovanni Galermo (Catania), known for its vast selection of tavola calda and pastries, with counters always filled with tempting treats.
Among their many savory options, we found a complete set of pistachio-flavored items: bomba, arancino, cartocciata, and cipollina! Naturally, we tried them all!
We had already talked in detail about their famous pistachio bomba, but the other items deserved a review as well. Unfortunately, the final verdict is the same: these are pieces of tavola calda with a very good overall taste (great dough, excellent frying, etc.), but they have absolutely no pistachio flavor! The filling is essentially a sort of heavily onion-flavored béchamel; it's delicious, but certainly not pistachio (aside from the green color).
Ultimately, the rating can only be 2 pistachios, given the absence of any pistachio taste, but otherwise, we can confirm they make excellent tavola calda.
