Soft and affordable, but with a negligible pistachio percentage.
Among supermarket brands, "Passioni" is one of my favorites for pistachio products because, while it doesn't reach absolute excellence, it manages to offer good products at convenient prices, such as their pesto or ice cream.
So, how does this Pandoro filled with a cream based on "Pistacchio Verde di Bronte DOP" hold up?
Unfortunately, with a pistachio percentage of just 6%—which is truly very low—the cream fails to offer any real pistachio flavor on the palate. Added to this is the fact that it is an alcoholic cream, designed to improve the product's shelf life.

Nothing to complain about regarding the dough, however, which is truly soft and good, in line with the best commercial pandoros.
