Da Alfredo is one of the most famous spots in Salina, a destination for many tourists seeking their pane condito and granite.
We tried both the pistachio granita and some fruit flavors.
The fruit granite is genuinely high quality, whereas the pistachio flavor didn't convince us.
Despite the appearance highlighting a large amount of chopped pistachio, the final taste is very faint, with a strong "watery" sensation on the palate that dilutes all the flavors.
We hope, as always, that they might revisit the preparation of this product to bring the pistachio flavor up to the level of their other, more defined granite.
