No trace of pistachio. Only artificial flavors.
Rating: 2/10
Oreo are among the most famous and beloved cookies in the world, available, especially abroad, in countless flavor variations. From America comes what we thought was impossible: pistachio Oreos!
As a huge Oreo fan (almost as much as I am for pistachio!), I couldn't miss the chance to try them, even though they aren't sold in Italy. Thanks to eBay, I had them shipped directly from the United States (at a much lower price than what was offered on Amazon).

The packaging clearly states that the pistachio cream is flavored with artificial flavors; in fact, there is no trace of real pistachio among the ingredients. Unfortunately, tasting them confirms that artificial flavors cannot in any way match the true taste of pistachio, giving it a rather "chemical" flavor that vaguely reminds one of almond.

Even the color of the cream isn't the best, with a sort of mint green that is definitely not very pistachio-like. Fortunately, the cream layer is quite thin (as they are part of the Oreo Thins line), which leaves plenty of room for the excellent taste of the chocolate cookie. If you want to taste the cream more intensely, you can open two cookies to create one with double cream, although, given the flavor, in my opinion very disappointing, there is no reason to do so!
