Keep buying the classic one. Look for pistachio elsewhere...
The Ferrero Tronky (the classic one) is one of my favorite snacks, because it's crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside (okay, it sounds like an advertising slogan), but above all because it has a wonderful cocoa and hazelnut flavor, Ferrero's true specialty!
A few years ago, when the Tronky al pistacchio launched, I rushed to try it, even though I knew disappointment was just around the corner. Without dragging it out, the final result can be summarized as: the outside is super crunchy, the inside is super soft, the pistachio is super absent!
It must be said that the overall flavor is quite good, but the pistachio taste is totally absent (as almost always happens in this type of product).
