A dense cremolata packed with crushed pistachio!

Caffetteria Giunta is located in Rosolini, a small town in the province of Siracusa. This bar is famous for the quality of its gelato and granite, so we went to try their pistachio granita, or to be more precise, their pistachio cremolata.
The first thing that strikes you is the density, due to the rich content of crushed pistachio, which is what distinguishes a cremolata from a classic granita. The pistachio used is of the highest quality and, on the palate, it tastes barely toasted or not at all, giving it a very natural pistachio flavor.
The brioche is also excellent, soft and tasty, just like the other flavors we sampled.
All in all, an exquisite product; a bit pricey, but the price is completely justified!
