Very mild and watery flavor.

Cafè Incontri, in Floridia (Siracusa), is very active online, always sharing photos and videos full of treats. Their dessert selection is vast, but with the arrival of summer, we wanted to try their pistachio granita.
The presentation is excellent, starting from the unique glass to the serving board. The brioche served with it is also distinctive, with an elongated shape and a flavor reminiscent of a milk bun, which is definitely pleasant.
The granita has a somewhat pale color and, upon tasting, it proves to be lacking in intensity and very watery. The texture is somewhat reminiscent of a Messinese granita, but not exactly the same.
The pistachio flavor, in our opinion, is not well-defined, resulting in a product that is certainly fresh and pleasant, but where the pistachio is not the star.
On the palate, there is also a slight aftertaste reminiscent of almond, but the shop is keen to specify that there is no almond in the recipe.
