Bar Caprice di f.lli Sambito is located in Belvedere, a district of Siracusa. I tried their pistachio granita (and their gelato as well).
The pistachio flavor is quite intense, thanks in part to the strong roasting. There are no almond aftertastes or other unwanted flavorings.
As for the consistency, the creaminess is medium, sitting somewhere between the Catania-style and Messina-style granita. The sweetness is also medium—quite sugary, but not excessively so.
All in all, it is a pleasant granita, especially if you are looking for a good one in Siracusa. The value for money is also truly excellent.
The brioche is good and nice and soft, but the blueberry granita deserves a special mention (pictured below); it is truly extraordinary!
