One of the best gelatos I've ever had!

Caffetteria Giunta is located in Rosolini, a small town in the province of Siracusa. This café is famous for the quality of its gelatos and granite, so after trying their granita, we just had to taste their pistachio gelato as well.
The first thing that catches your eye is the sign, prominently displayed, stating that the pistachio used is 100% Bronte pistachio DOP. While this alone isn't a guarantee of a good gelato, the tasting confirms that this is a gelato crafted to perfection!
The percentage of pistachio and the processing make for an intense and delicious pistachio flavor! You can clearly taste the pure pistachio paste, accompanied by a very subtle, pleasant salty note, all within a perfectly balanced flavor that is intense without ever feeling heavy.
To top it all off, the creaminess is excellent, making this pistachio gelato one of the best I have ever tasted. Highly recommended!
PS. A special mention for the almond gelato, truly sublime!
