Excellent pistachio filling, but it needs a little bit more.

When talking about pistachio tavola calda, thoughts immediately turn to arancini, but the pistachio cartocciata also deserves to be tasted! Let's find out what the one offered by Life Caffe in Bronte is like.
The filling consists of pistachio mixed with cream (or perhaps a spreadable cheese like Philadelphia), with a truly delicious taste! The pistachio flavor is good and noticeable, even if not extremely intense. The cartocciata dough is also good.
Unfortunately, the filling does not uniformly fill the entire inside of the cartocciata, which means that in some bites you get almost exclusively dough, lowering the overall perceived pistachio taste.
It deserves a rating of 8/10 and is definitely recommended, but with a slightly more generous filling, it would have reached the maximum score.
The location of this bar is very strategic since, coming from Catania, it is found at the entrance to the town. We also tried their pistachio arancino.
