We are back to talk about Prestipino Café, a famous bar in the heart of Catania, and this time we are discussing the pistachio arancino, the undisputed king of Sicilian street food.
Unfortunately, the pistachio arancino was disappointing. Overall it's not bad, but the pistachio inside is completely undetectable, both because there is objectively very little of it and because it is overpowered by the onion. To be picky, the frying wasn't perfect either and the rice was a bit overcooked, but I might have just picked up an arancino that had been sitting on the counter for a couple of hours.
I sincerely hope they can improve, as I really appreciate this establishment, but as it stands, the rating can only be 2 pistachios, due to the almost non-existent pistachio flavor.
