Opera Prima, in Catania, offers a wide selection of tavola calda items, some quite original, inside a very well-maintained venue. We tried their pistachio bomba.
The bomba is filled with a cream cheese and pistachio cream, accompanied by ham.
The dough is soft and tasty, perfectly harmonizing with the flavor and texture of the fillings. The filling is rich just the right amount, and the bomba is truly very enjoyable.
However, regarding the pistachio, the flavor gets lost in the cream cheese, turning out very faint.
